These terms apply to the GoThere mobile apps, the website at getgothere.app, and the public assistant endpoint at getgothere.app/mcp (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GoThere is a planning tool for people considering or organising a move to another country. It provides checklists, cost comparisons, country information, document tracking, and eligibility checks against published immigration and nationality rules.
GoThere is informational only. It is not legal advice, immigration advice, tax advice, or financial advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
Immigration and nationality law changes often, and consulates apply it inconsistently. An eligibility result from GoThere is an indication based on the information you supplied and the rules as we understood them on the date shown. It is not a decision, a guarantee, or a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer or the relevant consulate or government authority.
Always confirm before you act, spend money, book an appointment, or make an irreversible decision.
We work to keep country and visa information correct and we record the date the underlying rules were last verified. We cannot guarantee it is complete, current, or applicable to your situation. Results depend on what you tell the Service; incomplete or approximate information produces approximate results, and the Service will say so where it can.
Some features need an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Paid features are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment, billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, not by us. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancel through your Apple or Google account settings. We never receive your payment card details.

We rate-limit the public assistant endpoint and may block clients that abuse it.
We publish tools at getgothere.app/mcp that AI assistants can call. They are provided as-is and free of charge, with no uptime commitment, and we may change or withdraw them at any time. Anything an assistant tells you based on these tools is subject to section 2 in full. Your conversation with that assistant is governed by the assistant provider's terms, not ours.
The Service, its content, and its branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal relocation planning. Government sources, official forms, and third-party material referenced in the Service remain the property of their owners.
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will handle it fairly.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost applications, fees, deposits, travel costs, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on information in it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
If you use the Service as a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights given to you by the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where GoThere is operated. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
